Is this your audience for finding a NEW customer?

YouTube-Money

It is just amazing how business is changing right before our eyes. People continue to go on-line in search of products, recommendations, information and referrals for professional services. Video is becoming more and more useful to everyone in these endeavors; The leader in this field is YouTube (As part of the Google network, we are talking about Youtube, Google.com and their partners)

Looking over the stats for last year:

  • Youtube continues to dominate in the 2nd position for “search engines” in 2015.
  • Youtube has over 1 billion users; 1/3 of all people on the internet. Everyday, people watch hundreds of millions of hours of YouTube Videos.
  • The number of hours people spend time watching videos (aka watch time) on YouTube has increased 60%  (yes 60%) year-to-year.
  • Youtube overall reaches more 18-34  and  18-49 year-olds than ANY Cable Network in the U.S. (People are literally starting to unplug from cable and have been for several years.)

As the above facts show, the audience is watching, along with the very inexpensive way to put together a simple message about a business, every business ought to look at putting together a video ad campaign.

YouTube Video ads cover 80% off all computers that are on the internet. You can select the demographic, age, area (one zip code or a radius of how many miles around that zip code. The best part is that you only pay for the ad if the person watching for 30 seconds or more. They are literally pennies per ad. You can generally run and ad campaign of 500 ads for less than $100 (depending on your cost-per-click setting).

What I always ask and every business person should know, What is the lifetime value of each client/customer to your business ?

It’s not how much you spend on the advertising on the YouTube/google network – BUT how much does it cost to acquire a new client/customer? With that and the lifetime value of the client/customer you will know your numbers and what have to do to grow your business.

Advertise on the internet or not – just remember people are looking for your business on line.  Will they find you or your competitor ?
