Dr. Bhupesh Vasisht (Dr. V) is a native of southern New Jersey, where he grew up on the shore. Dr. Vasisht began his training at Boston Medical Center in general surgery and finished his general surgery training at Staten Island University Hospital. He completed a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at UMDNJ- New Jersey Medical School. Dr. V was appointed the administrative chief resident in Plastic Surgery during the last year of his training. He went on to complete a hand and microsurgery fellowship at University of Connecticut- Hartford Hospital
