Rayner House Care is a private, not-for-profit residential care home in Solihull, offering residential care, independent living apartments, and an adult day centre. Established in 1985, it provides personalised care focused on independence, dignity, and respect in a homely setting. The Chairman of Trustees is Mrs Carol McNidder who joined the Trustee Board in 2021 and was elected Chairman in September 2022.
Carol moved to Solihull in 1976 when she married her husband Brian, she has two sons and three grandchildren and is grateful the families have remained in Solihull. She worked as a Community Pharmacist in and around Solihull until her ‘retirement’ two years ago but still keeps her hand in doing locum work.
She is a volunteer for SSAFA and a school governor.
The Chairman of the Trustees is registered with the Care Quality Commission as the “registered home provider”.
The Care Manager is the “registered manager”. They are responsible for the day-to-day well-being of residents and general running of our services.
A Business Manager deals with all financial, property and resource matters.
