Even though Kugler Construction was founded in 2003, our company’s roots trace back to 1952 when Oskar Kugler brought his family to the United States. Oskar, who had been a successful German architect, began working at a steel mill because he didn’t know how to speak English.
Thanks to his God-given talents, Oskar was soon discovered and hired to work as an architect in America despite the fact he only spoke German.
Oskar’s son, Oskar Hugo, was just 16 years old when he immigrated to the United States with his family. He worked hard to help his family purchase a car for the first time. After serving in the Army, getting married, and going to college, Oskar Hugo became a respected technician in the HVAC industry.
