Jayme Inbody’s path to writing is interlaced with both personal and professional experiences. Jayme became a Corporate Travel Consultant after attending The Boyd Business College. Before devoting more than 19 years to elderly care in Ohio, she worked in several positions, including jobs in the travel and tourism industry and at a Christian bookstore.
Motivated by the difficulties of beginning a family—achieved through the adoption of a miracle child—Jayme retired to concentrate on family and writing. Beloved Unknown was born out of twenty years of idea cultivation, motivated by her profound wish for family.
Jayme Inbody’s historical novel, Beloved Unknown, focuses on Abigail Wellington, a young woman navigating societal expectations and personal desires amid a complicated romantic and familial context. The story begins with Abigail becoming engaged to Charles Blakemore, whose profession of love triggers a chain of emotional and social difficulties. With the arrival of a child alleged to be Charles’s, left in Abigail’s care by Kathryn Aldridge, the plot thickens, adding layers of responsibility and self-examination to Abigail’s life.
