Curious about acting but not sure where to start? The Weekend Theatre Workshop welcomes theatre enthusiasts who wish to explore and experiment with acting as a skill. Whether you’re eager to unleash your inner actor amid a busy week or simply want to give acting a chance, this workshop caters to diverse interests. It exposes its participants to various aspects of acting and helps them understand it as a tool for expression. It maintains a fine balance between theory and practical both on and off stage. The Weekend Theatre Workshop concludes with a theatrical production staged in SRC auditorium by the students which gives them the opportunity to put to action all the knowledge acquired during the course. The student production helps them understand practically how every element of theatre can come to life through a full cycle of production process. Few plays that have been performed are Khamosh Adalat Jari Hai, A MidSummer Night’s Dream, Agra Bazaar, Circus, Muavze and so on. Participants will be awarded a certificate on successful completion of the workshop.
