ADAM TURMAN is an artist, muralist, and screen printer, from Minneapolis, MN. Adam’s murals can be found throughout the Midwest and his screen prints are in private collections worldwide. Adam grew up in the Twin Cities and got his start as an artist by making gig posters for bands coming through popular Twin Cities venues. He drew influence from the bold, graphic style of 80s art and comics. Adam started his professional studio practice in 2003, and since then has become one of Minnesota’s most popular artists.
Adam’s bold illustrations riff everyday icons with stylized takes on everything from the BWCA to Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox. His work celebrates a distinctive Midwestern love of the great outdoors.
