Detailed Information

LRBT (Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust) is Pakistan’s largest provider of free eye care for the poor. Since its inception in 1985, LRBT has been dedicated to combating blindness and visual impairment through high-quality, free eye treatments and surgeries. A key pillar of its operations is Sadaqah charity, an Islamic form of voluntary almsgiving aimed at aiding those in need.

At LRBT, Sadaqah plays a transformative role in empowering underprivileged communities by restoring sight to those who cannot afford medical care. Every donation given as Sadaqah directly funds life-changing eye procedures, from cataract surgeries to treatments for corneal diseases and glaucoma. These procedures help individuals regain their independence, resume their livelihoods, and improve their quality of life, thus breaking the cycle of poverty for entire families.

With over 45 hospitals and clinics across Pakistan, LRBT has treated over 50 million patients and performed millions of surgeries — all thanks to generous contributions like Sadaqah. Your donations to LRBT through Sadaqah not only fulfill a vital religious duty but also provide the gift of sight, allowing individuals to thrive and contribute to society.

By giving your Sadaqah to LRBT, you ensure that those in need have access to essential eye care, regardless of their financial circumstances, aligning with the core Islamic principles of compassion, kindness, and social responsibility.
